When it comes to getting a new piercing it’s fair to say you’ve made a conscious choice to do something for yourself that’s exciting, fun and special✨✨
Still, it isn’t always easy not to psyche yourself out a little though, even experienced folks can get a little anxious before an appointment! We’re going to share 2 little tips we’ve found helpful.
But would love to know your opinion, too! Is there anything that has helped you center yourself if your feeling anxious before a piercing appointment?
Here are 2 quick tips:
1. Plan in advance! Avoid caffeine and make sure you have some food in your tummy, this will lessen your chances of feeling anxious or light headed as a result of getting too worked up.
2. Be willing to be a little unconventional. We know it’s easy to see a beautiful piercing (or piercings) on Pinterest and want to copy the aesthetic, and you can! Just keep in mind those gorgeous, healthy, healed piercings require aftercare, aside from routine cleaning. For example, consider sleeping on a travel pillow while you heal your helix piercings, or try switching that nose hoop to a stud if you’re having trouble healing.
