What type of belly button piercings do you offer?
Depending on the anatomy of the individual we can do a traditional navel piercing, lower navel piercing, or a 'floating' navel piercing. Both traditional and lower navels will be pierced using a curved barbell with either titanium balls or gem balls and a floating navels jewelry style will be pierced with a curved barbell with either a flat disk or small bead on the bottom vs a larger ball or gem. Your piercer will help determine what style of navel piercing will be best suited for your anatomy.

What is the aftercare for a belly button piercing?
Please wash your hands thoroughly and then use a sterile saline spray, rinse, or wipes. Gently pat dry with a disposable paper towel for cleanliness. Avoid touching your piercing more than is necessary and always with clean hands.

What should I expect at my belly button piercing appointment?
We will do the appropriate legal paperwork for getting pierced and then one of our knowledgeable counter staff will help you select jewelry for the piercing you are receiving. The jewelry will be sterilized in the autoclave. The piercer will call you back to a piercing room where they will talk about the piercing and placement, clean and mark the area and have you approve the marks. Once all materials being used are finished in the autoclave the piercer will pierce you. When finished they will go over aftercare instructions with you.

Do you pierce minors (under 18) with parent/guardian consent?
We will only pierce those old enough to verbally consent to the piercing and with their parent or legal guardian present. This generally means three years of age and up. If under 18 and consenting to be pierced, the parent or legal guardian must be present. The guardian must have their state or federal-issued identification to complete paperwork and accompany the minor during their piercing.
